Latest version of Unisoft software, software updates, etc.

The latest version of Markup.exe for the PRONTO series of software is Version 5.25.11.01. The latest version of Cells.exe for the CELLS Workflow MES Product Tracking software is Version 5.5.02.00.

To find the licensing version when the software is first started, the licensing window will be displayed and the version number will be found there as in the figure below.  After starting the software, clicking HELP then ABOUT will display the same licensing window.

General features of the Unisoft software are constantly added and modified and this includes exports to program a variety of production equipment. Along with barcode modifications, etc.

The following CAD, Gerber, XYR, BOM importers have been recently modified - Allegro, ODB++, IPC-2581, Gencad, Gerber, IPC-D-356, XYR, PADS, OrCAD, Protel, CAD-Star, BOM, Accell Tango, etc.

Also new and modified exports to GENCAD, IPC-2581, Fabmaster FATF, IPC-D-356, MENTOR Neutral, PADS Ascii, .XML format, Unisoft .FBA format, XY center & rotation, etc. Additionally the Unisoft software has added support for dispenser machines for glue, etc. used in PCB assembly manufacturing such as the TDK MDM dispenser machines and others.

Note the CAD, Gerber, XYR, BOM, etc. importers when they are updated will not change the Markup.exe or Cells.exe versions listed above and they are automatically included in the latest software update. Also several aspects of the CELLS Workflow MES Product Tracking software when updated will not change the version of the Cells.exe software for example enhancements to CELLS Route Builder and the CELLS Administrator and these are automatically included in the latest software update.

SOFTWARE UPDATES:

A software update can include, but is not limited to, software improvements, bug fixes, new and / or enhanced features and improvements in ease of use and performance. 

The new Pronto series software update releases are always available via the Installation download and include the latest Markup.exe, .DLL CAD importers, manuals, etc.   To install the latest software and other installation information click here.

Software update types:

• MINOR UPDATES: Most software updates are minor and do not need to be downloaded regularly and are automatically included in the latest software update.
• SEMI-ANNUAL GENERAL UPDATES: There are general software update notices for the Pronto series of software that are sent to our customer base and they happen twice a year in approximately April and October. At that time a "Unisoft general software update release notice" is emailed to all customers with instructions to download and install the latest Unisoft Pronto software.
• SPECIFIC CRUCIAL UPDATES: If there is a specific important change to a product feature that you use then you will be notified automatically via email how to install the update. For example for customers who use the ProntoPLACE software specifically to program their Mycronic / Mydata assembly machine and if there was a crucial update to the Mycronic / Mydata feature of the software then you would be notified via email.
• CRITICAL UPDATES: If there is ever a critical software update that effects all customers then the full customer base is sent an email to install the software update.
